Docs

Install guides for every client, what each MCP tool does, what is shipped and what isn't, and running Brain on your own infrastructure.

Install

Connect a client to your workspace. OAuth on first use; a per-user workspace token is the fallback.

  • Claude Code — marketplace install, plus the /brain:* commands.
  • Claude Desktop — step by step with screenshots, no terminal.
  • Codex — marketplace, or the MCP server in config.toml.
  • Obsidian — two-way sync between a local vault and the knowledge base your agents use.
  • Any MCP client — the endpoint, the auth, and the call that proves it works.

Reference

  • MCP tools — what each of the 19 tools does, when to reach for it, and the vocabulary they share.
  • brain.md — this product as Markdown, for agents.
  • mcp.json — the machine-readable server definition.

On-Premise

Running Brain inside your own network. Not generally available — the section says where it stands and what a deployment involves.

  • Overview — status, and what is already private in the hosted product.
  • Requirements — what a deployment involves and what sizes it.
  • Model options — the parts of a deployment, and the model decision that shapes it.

Product

  • Roadmap — shipped, in build, and designed but not started. No dates.
  • Examples — worked runs with the payloads shown.
  • FAQs — the questions that come up before access does.
