## Capabilities

- Topic filters accept the standard `+` and `#` wildcards.
- Negotiates MQTT 5.0 or 3.1.1 with the broker.
- Connects with TLS and a username and password where the broker needs them.
- Passwords stay in devops-client's environment on your machine.

## Limits

- The broker must be reachable from the machine running devops-client.
- Topics starting with `$`, including `$SYS`, can't be subscribed to.
- Retained results can be incomplete on brokers that deliver them late.
- Last Will and Testament can't be set.
