One config block; the IDE, CLI and SDK all pick it up.

## 1 · Open the config

In the agent panel click **… → MCP Servers → Manage MCP Servers → View raw
config**.

## 2 · Add the server

Add this to `~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json` and save. The field must be
`serverUrl`: Antigravity ignores `url`.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "brain": { "serverUrl": "https://brain.levirge.com/mcp" }
  }
}
```

## 3 · Sign in

Open **Agent Settings** (`⌘,`) → **Customizations**, click **Authenticate** next
to **brain**, sign in, paste the code back, and click **Submit**.

## 4 · Verify

Ask for a read-only call: `kb_overview` returns your workspace's knowledge
summary.

## Using a token instead

For machines that cannot open a browser (CI, a server). Get a
[token](/brain/docs/install/mcp#auth) first, add a `headers` line, and skip the
Authenticate step:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "brain": {
      "serverUrl": "https://brain.levirge.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <your-token>" }
    }
  }
}
```

## Troubleshooting

**The server is ignored.** The field must be `serverUrl`. Antigravity does not
read `url` or `httpUrl`.

**Authenticate asks me for a code.** That is normal: sign in in the browser, copy
the code it shows, paste it into the Antigravity dialog and click **Submit**.

**"401" or "Unauthorized" with a token.** Check the header is exactly
`Authorization: Bearer <your-token>`, and that the token has not been revoked on
[Profile → MCP Tokens](https://brain.levirge.com/profile).
